About
We build tools that respect your craft.
NoirSystems exists to give developers precision instruments — not frameworks that fight them.
Mission
Eliminate ambiguity from web development.
Every CSS class should have a clear purpose. Every deviation should be tracked. Every design decision should be auditable. We build the tools that make this possible — starting with Xandra, a CSS framework that treats your stylesheet as a contract, not a suggestion.
Vision
A world where design systems don't drift.
We envision a future where styling is deterministic, where teams don't lose days reconciling inconsistent UI, and where the gap between design intent and shipped product is measured in classes, not guesswork.
Our Story
Born from frustration. Built with intent.
NoirSystems started in 2023 when our founding team — engineers who had spent years maintaining large-scale design systems — asked a simple question: why does every CSS framework give you tools to write styles, but none give you tools to maintain them?
That question led to the namespace system, then the contract compiler, then the VS Code extension. Today, Xandra is used by thousands of developers who care about what happens to their CSS after the first commit.
Values
What drives us.
Precision
Every class, every convention, every tool exists for a reason. We don't ship ambiguity.
Clarity
Code should communicate intent. Our namespace system makes design decisions visible and auditable.
Developer-First
We build for the people who build the web. Speed, ergonomics, and trust guide every decision.
Iteration
Ship, measure, improve. The promotion pipeline turns real-world patterns into framework features.
Team
The people behind the product.
